Pacheco

I can’t believe what I just read in the Tico Times today…Former President Abel Pacheco is supposed to be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize by an environmental group Oilwatch. The reason, the moratorium on oil exploration he implemented during his presidency, from 2002-2006.

Can anyone be nominated for a Nobel Peace prize now? I mean could I be for the great blog or terrific website that I have….I think not, nor should Pacheco for simply doing his job.
